Students who complete IB exams must send an original grade report from IB to Truman (the CEEB code is 6483).
Effective Fall of 2010, students entering Truman with a score of 30 or higher on an IB Diploma will be awarded 30 hours of credit. If a student does not earn a diploma, credit will be awarded for higher-level examinations with scores of 4 or higher, except where noted. The student will not receive credit for standard-level examinations unless a diploma is earned.
All credit awarded from IB will result in a grade of âTâ (test). The âTâ grade does not affect the grade point average, but does count toward total earned hours.
Truman courses are granted for IB exams in the following manner. Equivalencies for future students are subject to change without notice as a result of changes in IB test content and Truman course/curriculum changes.
A brochure with this information is also available in .pdf form by clicking here. If an exam that you are taking, or that you may take, is not included in the list below, please contact the Truman State University Registrar's Office at (660) 785-4143 or registrar@truman.edu for equivalency information.
