Transcripts can be issued only with the student's written consent. To request an official transcript, open the Transcript Request Form and follow all instructions. You will be able to attach documents electronically during this process. Confirmation of your request will be sent to your email.
Requests for transcripts cannot be made by e-mail or by phone.
If you request that your transcripts are faxed, be aware that faxed transcripts are unofficial. An official transcript will also be sent in the mail to the address provided.
Transcripts may be released directly to the student or to a third-party. Transcripts that are issued to a student will be marked "Issued to Student" and will remain official as long as they are not opened. Any request to send a transcript to a third party must include a complete address. If an incorrect address is provided, the student will be responsible for ordering a new transcript.
Effective July 1, 2013, transcripts cost $8.00 each when ordered online. If ordered by paper form in the Office or via Mail, transcripts are $10.00 each. Transcripts can also be faxed for an additional $3.00 charge, or sent overnight mail for an additional $10.00 charge. Additional fees will be charged for international overnight service; please contact the Registrar's Office for an estimate if you would like to pursue this option.
Payment must be made before transcripts will be released. Payment can be made online using the Transcript Request Form. Fees can be paid via electronic check or credit card.
All transcript requests are processed in the order in which they are received. Please note that a request to send a transcript by fax or overnight mail does not expedite the processing of your request, although it will significantly reduce delivery time. Normal processing time is one to two working days.
If you were enrolled between 1980 and 2003 and if you have not ordered transcripts since 2003, your transcript will require additional processing time. In the Summer of 2003 we converted student records to our new student information system, and, as a result, must verify each transcript before it is released. Processing time for these requests may last up to three working days, or longer at the beginning or end of a semester.
