Closed Course.
Check to see if other sections of the same course are
still open. In some
cases, you can search for courses
by attribute to find other courses that will fulfill the same
requirement as the course that is closed.
You may want to check TruView periodically to see if seats
later open in the course as students drop.
You can also contact the appropriate Department Office to
request permission to enroll in a closed course.

Co-Requisite Error.
To enroll in this course, you also need to enroll in another
course at the same time.
Check the catalog to identify the second course and then
add both courses to your schedule.
Departments have limited some courses to
certain students.
If you receive a Pre-Requisite or Test Score error,
a Major Restriction error, or a Class Restriction
error, check the information available on the open course list
(remember, you need to click the CRN, and then the course title)
or the
2007-2008 General Catalog
to see if you are eligible to enroll in the course.
If, after reviewing these criteria, you believe that you
are eligible to enroll or would like to request permission to
waive these restrictions, contact the appropriate Department
Office. Please note that from
May through August, courses reserved for incoming freshmen may
have a prerequisite of WFT, which means that the course is being
reserved for new students.
You may also receive a Class Restriction
if you are an undergraduate student attempting to enroll in a
graduate course.
Contact the Graduate Office for permission to enroll in graduate
courses.
Reserved Closed. Each Summer, when the University
begins the process of enrolling new students for fall, we save
seats in introductory classes for our new students. If you look
at the Open Course List via TruView, it appears that there are
seats available in these sections, but they are actually
"reserved" for incoming first year and new transfer students.
Unfortunately, by just looking at “remaining seats” on the open
course list, you cannot tell which seats are reserved for the
new first year students and which seats are available to
upperclass students. TruView will, however, give you a “reserved
closed” error message if you try to enroll in a seat reserved
for new first year students. Other sections that are reserved
exclusively for new first year students will have a “T” in the
section number. Upperclass students will not be allowed to
enroll in a class that is marked as "reserved closed" until
after all incoming students have been registered.
Generally, the University opens any remaining seats in these
classes to upperclass students in early August.
